Metedeconk River, photos and information

Just a nice lil river running through Monmouth and Ocean counties in central NJ. You can find many access points (both public and private) for car-top and trailer based launching.

On the west end of the river, you will find Forge Pond (Brick, Ocean County, New Jersey). Traveling east you will pass Windward Beach. Along the eastern side of the river, you will find the canal (to the north) connecting the Manasquan River (Monmouth|Ocean, New Jersey) and Metedeconk River. The river empties into the Barnegat Bay (Ocean, New Jersey) in the south east corner.
