March 2007 Trail Day With S.M.A.R.T. at Mercer County Park
Today was my first time out with SMART in Mercer County Park, NJ, and I had a great time. i love what these guys do for the park and I can't wait to help out some more. Thanks everyone.. Kevin, Yuri, Jim, Dave, Jim and of course Mick.
t-I have recently found a great non-profit organization that does amazing work for Mercer County Park, NJ. They are called S.M.A.R.T. == Save Mercer And Ride Trails, and are all about fixing up the trails to make sure everyone is able to enjoy them for years to come. Today was one of their monthly trail maintenance days and I was fortunate enough to be able to join the group and help out. We worked on putting down wood chips along a stretch of a trail that is just always muddy. And I think we did a great job :)
