So I went paddling today with my friend again. We tried out a new launch site that put us out on the Rariton bay, about a mile and a half west of the pier at Naval Weapons Station Earle. We headed out like normal, with me facing my first 2+ foot choppy swells. It was a fight to get through, and it was rather fun. But about 45 minutes in we were close to the pier. Too close. A coast guard boat came flying over to us. With guns a blazing (no really, they had guns aimed at us), we were questioned and then sent back the way we came being instructed to get past the buoys "As fast as you can". Very fun day i tell you.
After the "fun", I did some walking around the park and found a few nice shots. Enjoy!
