I went over to the nature center on the southern side of Rt 80 to grab a map and use the bathroom. The building there has been closed for a long time because of bad floods a while back, and I knew they were going to make something new. And they are! They are making a log cabin building that will serve as a temporary building until they build their perm facility.

I crossed Rt 80 and parked in the main parking lot and the bottom of all the trails. A few minutes later I was off and snapping photos.

The trail used to wrap around to the right, but it was washed out a while back. Now the trail goes up high on the hill to y right, |
After enjoying the Werthington and the Application trail area I headed deeper into the park. A lot of road were closed due to all the snow. Thank god for GPS :)
