A snowy walk through the Delaware Water Gap
Each year I try to go for a walk/hike up around the Delaware Water Gap. I try to hit a few of the same hikes each time. I am not sure how this turned into a tradition, but it has. And i am glad it has. i enjoy the fact that I have gotten a little bit better with my photography each time. Which is always nice to see. And here are some shots from there.

I went over to the nature center on the southern side of Rt 80 to grab a map and use the bathroom. The building there has been closed for a long time because of bad floods a while back, and I knew they were going to make something new. And they are! They are making a log cabin building that will serve as a temporary building until they build their perm facility.
This building was destroyed by major floods a few years ago

They are building a new temporary office right up the road

I crossed Rt 80 and parked in the main parking lot and the bottom of all the trails. A few minutes later I was off and snapping photos.

The trail used to wrap around to the right, but it was washed out a while back. Now the trail goes up high on the hill to y right,
