This is the first memorial day weekend in years (prolly more than 4) where I actually got my ass in gear and went out camping. I went to Indian Rock Campground (Jackson, NJ) with my friend Ron and his family. We had a great time.

The only bad thing about the weekend was the gypsy mouth caterpillars. There is such a large problem in Jersey this year, where they are just eating all the leaves in site. Well what happens when a million caterpillars eat leaves high above? They poop on you. It literally sounded like it was raining all weekend while the tiny droppings fell to the ground. Kinda rough, but not the end of the world.
