Our hike today started out in the second parking lot (after the Manor lot). We headed towards the Red and White trails. We followed the white trail.. but we found out that the map we were using was definitely out of date. The map told us to follow the yellow/white trail.. but the white trail actually turned off in a weird way.

After following the yellow trail (hoping the white trail would show up and things would make sense, we had to backtrack. We finally found a road and decided to follow it. The hill was just SO sharp.

But at the top of the hill we were pleased to find the Botanical Gardens. What a great place. I can't wait to get back here during the summer.

Back down the hill, and back to the car. We drove up to the main lake. Here we found a nice church, beach, open areas.. just a great place for a nice summer day.
