Harmony Ridge sounded great in the brochure, but I must say I was let down a good bit. The main office smelled really bad. Like a mix of dog poo and throw up. The grounds were really not well kept. The roads would not have been travelable by a normal car without a trucks clearance. They just all seemed to be washed away. There were a lot of spots, but there was only one bathroom, and it was not very close. I would recommend too avoid this place. But thats just my opinion.

Boo to cracks in my windshield! |
I wish I could have gotten better shots of the play ground. There was a rusty boat, rusty equipment.. if I had kids they would NOT be playing here.

Just a mosquito breeding ground in the making |
The cabins seemed very nice. They were clean (looking), and didn't smell like ass in anyway. But with other feelings, I still don't think I would stay here.

The smaller cabin. |

Taken in the kitchen, looking towards the loft |

The larger cabin. Sleeps 6+ |

The loft is a few feet high, but wouldn't be bad for kids to sleep |
Our last stop was
Kymer's Camping Resort (Branchville, Sussex County, New Jersey). I have stayed here a few times and have always liked it. The spots are a pretty decent size, and I have never really had issues with loud people. But, I have also always gone on off times.. like before memorial day and after labor day.

I want to borrow this and drive around for a while =) |
