There are two daily launches of the balloons. 6:30 am, and 6:30 pm. We did not want to be dealing with the insane heat and over crowded 6:30 pm launch. So we got there at about 6:10, paid our (each) entry fee, and headed to the balloons.

We got there just in time to hear the announcement that they were not going to be launching. The cloud ceiling was too low, and the visibility was not far enough. But at least many of them still filled, but up so we could see what they look like up close.
