Diamond Notch Falls is formed on the Westkill, a medium-sized stream that rises on the south slopes of Hunter Mountain (Not the ski resort area) (Hunter, Greene County, New York) and flows into Schoharie Creek at Lexington. The waterfall is roughly 10 feet high. A footbridge spans the creek just upstream from the falls offering additional hiking access.
