Its been a long time since I really put any time into this site. I have been trying to get through some pictures and get them up here when I can. I am also working on a few other bigger projects that will directly affect this site. But a few weeks ago I was finally forced to work on this site again.
Like in almost all my posts on here talking about carabs, I mention that I hate the Locations section within the site. Well it will be a while until I can get my CMS, Project Bill, up and running. For now I will be adding in some more useful information. Like maps and tail/activity info. So click around the Locations page and let me know what you think.

Once again my numbers are down. I had a few days that were Very solid (at least 15), but many others with only 5 or so hits. I did not do much to the site all March. i really did not add much or update my blog, even though I said on here I would. So my poor numbers are definitely my fault. But that will change 
My plan this month: I already started using the google maps API to get better location information on the the site. I KNOW my “Location” section is weak, and I have a plan to improve that. I also want to start reviewing all the search engine referrals and trying to make all my text a lot stronger. This should help a good bit too.
I have been working on a project (here and there) over the last year or so that will run this website, and run the other sites I maintain. Its called Project BILL. I have finally reached the point that I could use it to maintain a simple site (like this one). So I took the last week and got it done! This is just the first change in many for this site. And i hope to have a few larger updates/upgrades in the next 6 months or so.
I have been working with a good friend of mine named Chris Wornowicz to bring his catering talent and vision to the web. This is very beginning of his site, and I would like to share that with you. RevolutionTaste.com. It is still a demo right now. So check back for updates. And if you have myspace, go add him as a friend
So I finally got off my ass and got this thing up and running. I have been playing with it (heh..playing with it) now for a while. I hope to get more info about life, love, things I use, things I enjoy up here like I used to with my old forum.

So it’s been SOO very long since I have done anything with Carabs. I have been trying to get a new blog going so I can share some recent news of romantic changes that happened Months ago! I also have a boat load of new pictures to put up. As well as some links to some new sites I have been working. So I am putting this hear to let everyone know that change is coming. I just needed a few weeks to get my head back on straight, and than a few more weeks to avoid the computer So look around and enjoy. But new info will be coming soon!

A new Blog
So after a few weeks of playing around with different Blogs, I finally made a decision! I tried a few different forum solutions, and even tried out some blog software for a few weeks. But nothing really worked for me. Not until I started playing with this script. It was created Word press, and looks really flexible. I hope everyone likes it. I am going to start populating it as soon as I have some topics to place in here!

So I have been working on a few new projects. I have a few new web servers I am checking out, working on a CMS, and trying to get my web development business in order this real. While this has been going on I realized that I don’t ever use my forum any more. I just don’t like this thing too much. But I do enjoy putting stuff up here. At about the same time I started getting spam posts from web-bots that just try and post anything they can. Mainly links to other sites so search engines will read them, and those sites will get more hits. This made me not want to use this forum even more! But today I sucked it up and disabled posts from just anyone. Now you have to sign up to post. But that won’t be too important for long..
I decided to look into some other forum solutions about 2 weeks ago. I installed one and have been adding some entries recently. I have a few posts up there now, but still haven’t really started using it. I am kinda debating on if I actually should be using a blog, or a forum. Not sure.. but I’ll figure it out in time. Keep your eye on the front page of carabs for that update.
What else.. So my CMS (content management solution) is called Project B.I.L.L. Its going to be a fully functioning solution that will allow me to create modules that contain everything that I need to run my sites. Like your-corner.com and carabs photos. I’ll give more info in the “new” forum once its out.
I also have added some new pictures to the photo gallery. I still have the Yellowstone ones to put up. Soooooo many. Too many to go through. 3800+. But it’ll be coming soon.
I have also been playing my drums more again. And even played with a new band. I haven’t really played in a very long. So this has been rather cool. I’ll let you know how the new band works out!
Enough for now.. gotta get back to work.
